Sunday has been cancelled - this is not a joke - apparently the weather has been so bad that they can't comply with their licence in some way or another so have pulled the whole day.
This is a blow indeed. Gutted.
BUT - rumours are abounding that there will be gigs in and around Bristol anyway. That's right - we're Brits - we're not afraid of a minor mishap, are we? NO. The bodging just never stops.
SO - who is playing where? Let us know...

If Sunday's cancellation was because of bad ground conditions on Sunday, this seemed to be mostly related to the vehicles churning it up getting onto site Friday.
Might this be related to the fact that it had moved site, as it looked like all vehicles seemed to have to drive through the festival area itself rather than along access roads along the back.
And from the reports, moving site and the "ring of steel" fence were part of the (many) licence condtions from North Somerset Council. So it may prove that they had a hand in speeding up its demise - sure they're not bothered, as Brizzel Council takes the credit for an event they've chuff all to do with, and they get none!
The new site did feel very narrow and penned in compared with the more usual, natural site. Also seemed to notice a lot more musicians carrying their own gear through the main site area...?
I'm just hoping that BCF has good event insurance, which might pay out because of cancellation. This might turn out better than if they'd actually held it on Sunday and nobody turned up - fingers crossed.
Well done everyone involved yet again for laying on a great event despite all the obstacles and nay-saying. We have to remember, the Ashton Court Festival is a privelege not a right, and we'll miss it when it's gone! :)
